Enhancing Your Lawn and Landscape with Integrated Pest Management (IPM)

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is a comprehensive approach to lawn and landscape pest management. It involves first deciding on a level of action to take, beyond reasonable prevention methods. Proper pest identification will be necessary to fully understand and apply effective control measures. The environment will be routinely monitored to discover problematic pests (or site-conditions) as early as possible. The implementation of control measures (cultural, mechanical and/or targeted pesticide application) will be the final step.

PESTS CAN BE DEFINED AS A WEED, DISEASE, RODENT OR INSECT THAT CAN CAUSE INJURY TO A LAWN OR LANDSCAPE.
