Have Snow Shovel – Will Travel!

There are so many efficient ways to clear snow nowadays.  Using anything from rechargeable battery powered electric snow blowers to large hydraulic expanding wing snow plows , snow removal has never been easier.  But in the world of detail oriented snow removal, at precarious residential sites in particular, nothing can replace a quality snow shovel for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of a property.

PACOCHA SNOW SHOVELING SERVICE: Our standard residential snow removal service includes manual snow shoveling along the base of any/all overhead garage doors, main entry/stoop, stairs, etc. (any area not accessible by plow truck or snow removal machine).

For those of you that prefer to clean your own snow, here is one of our favorite snow shovels……….. The SnowPlow Shovel.  After many, many years of commercial use, these shovels continue to amaze and flawlessly perform for us.  We highly recommend them!!

Our team at Pacocha Landscaping Services, Inc. forever strives to make you, our cherished customer, completely happy!

Thank you for visiting our site and please be sure to let us know if you have any questions or if there is anything we can do to be of further assistance.  Have a great day!

SNOW PRO TIP – Store Your Opened Plastic Bag of Deicing Salt in One of These!

When applying bagged ice melt materials to sidewalks, driveways, parking areas, etc., it is very likely that at some point along the way, once a store bought plastic bag of salt is opened, you will have unused material leftover.  Since bagged ice melt material is expensive, it is very prudent to do what you can to save the unused ice melt material in a manner so it can be used at a later date.  Simply rolling closed the open plastic bag is a crapshoot at best.  If the contents are allowed to become wet or even draw moisture from the air (hygroscopic materials – calcium chloride in particular), it will harden, clump and become nearly impossible to apply in an effective manner.

Store your open ice melt material in a plastic 5 or 6 gallon bucket WITH A RESEALABLE AIR-TIGHT LID!

Beyond storing unused ice melt material at the end of a winter weather event, keep a few additional covered buckets pre-loaded and ready to go before the storm arrives.  A bucket of salt is so much easier to handle than a clumsy, wet or sometimes snow covered plastic bag.

Please be sure to contact Pacocha Landscaping Services, Inc. with any snow and ice related service you may require.  We appreciate the opportunity and look forward to being of assistance to you.  Thank you for visiting our site and have a great day!

Ready for Accumulating Snow on November 1st!

It seems that accumulating snow is happening earlier and earlier in the fall season here in the northern Illinois Chicago area.  Over the last 20 years, we were considered “lucky” (from a plow contractor’s perspective 🙂 ) to get accumulating snow as early as mid-to-late December, but the last few winters have proven otherwise.

From our company’s point of view, accumulating snow in November is now to be expected.  Even though snow and ice service planning, operational improvement and efficient route creation never stops and truly happens year round, being fully operational and ready to successfully service our clients properties on November 1st.  is now the rule, not the exception.

Please contact our company, Pacocha Landscaping Services, Inc., for more information on our snow and ice management service offering and to receive a professional and fully detailed seasonal winter service agreement custom created specifically for your property.

Thank you for visiting our site and have a great winter season!
